All Media Player?

Is there something out there that will play all types of media files,
including part downloaded AVI?

Get the free version of Zoom Media Player. Install the "decoders" from the
home page. Be happy. It is the best there is. You will see.

I haven't found one player that will play all media. That would be
really cool, but I located it yet. I use a small collection of freeware
packages and I haven't found a media file that I cannot play.

I have vlc (video lan) WMP 9, Real Alternative and Quicktime. Between these
I can usually play a valid file. Sometimes I need a codec but not often. I
would also like to find 'one' player that plays all. ;)
