I hope some can help
I have this PC on our network that cannot access any shares or browse the
networkalso cannot ping any other PC except for it's self However it does
recieve DHCP IP from the server and when you run ipconfig does retrive all
info about our DNS and WINS servers I have tried reinstalling SP2 and
reinstalling TCPIP anyone with any ideas

Steve,

Please provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each computer, as a
start. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions

Steve,

That's a good start. I presume that's for the computer that you're complaining
about. But in cases like this, it helps to compare with the other computers.

So what I need is the same for 2 other computers, that are presumably not having
the same problem.

OK, that's a good start. You're right, everything is pretty homogenous. The
only discrepancy is that MKSTEVECL (the one with the problem, right?) does not
have a browser server available. This problem generally, has one of 2 causes.
# Check for any misconfigured or overlooked firewalls.

Still have the same problem
I disabled local firewall ( all XP's firewalls on the LAN are conrolled by
Group Policy )and checked restrictanonymous is set to 0

Any other ideas
