Aligning text in a query

My toolbar options to align text to left, center, or right are grayed out.
All of my columns are aligned to the right, and I want them to the right.

I even imported an Excel database formatted correctly, but it was aligned to
the right instead of the left.

Thanks. I know I can do that, but I've always aligned my text to the left in
a query because I just email it to my sales reps. Don't need a report.

If you want them aligned you do. Otherwise you would have to change the
design of the query so that it converts all the numeric values to text.
Then it will align them left.

There are no numerical values.

So you're saying your query datasheet is displaying TEXT values and is not
aligning them to the left already? Every datasheet I have ever looked at in
Access has aligned dates and numbers to the right and text to the left.

You got it! I always had my text aligned to the left, but about 3 months ago
when I realized my new queries were not, I noticed that that the icons were
greyed out. So, I went to View Toolbars, tried to moved them onto the toolbar
again, and they "go" there, but are grey. "tis a mystery. Obviously, I don't
have much spare time so I let it go, but this week I was determined to solve
it. So far I am batting ZERO!
