alarm sounding when too many windows are open

Help !! When my kids are on the internet and are using
msn , with many windows open an alarm begins to go off.
The advanced system error log says "The
device,\Device\Idle|IdlePort1,did not respond within the
timeout period" source being "atapi". The other error
is "the server{CC7A6223-3759-4075-8CEA-971F5CFCOED2} did
not register with DCOM within the required timeout. Does
anyone know why that alarm is going off and how do I turn
it off!!

Don't use MSN - the alarm won't go off then.
