I received a reply frm Mr. Jarvis MS-MVP Windows
Networking concerning my problem of not having a fixed IP
and wanting to connect to my home computer via VPN from
diffent computers.
He suggested no-ip.com
Sounds great

I downloaded and installed the program from this site.*no-
ip.com

This concept is great but?
After I installed (three times)I receive the following
message each time when I launch the program.

"Access violation at address 00404254 in module DUC20.exe
read addrerss 67100092"

And the program does not function.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG,

Thanks
RB

Well, why install three times? Have you tried to uninstall, reboot and reinstall? Are you installing
as an Administrator? When installing, temporarily disable/stop any anti-virus software you might
have running. Lastly, look at the No-IP.com support pages if you continue to have problems...

DynDNS is my backup dynamic DNS...

If you want full domain name support, also consider ZoneEdit... Free
for up to 5 domains after you purchase a domain name (try godaddy.com
- around $7 a year). I use DirectUpdate to update both DynDNS and
Zoneedit
