WARNING! Will Rogers. I'm too braindead to understand that
nobody but a true fool will call me ON THEIR DIME to get a
password to view my idiotic website

Can anybody explain to me what this last line is about? Googling came up
with little or nothing.

Oh yeah, here's something for the spambots:

These idiots are being hosted by this fine company:

who just love spamming POSs.

Have a nice day, you jerks.

John, I saw this alot when I usta read the eBay groups.
Apparently this line is added by the program that blasts out
several million emails and newsgroup posts in an attempt to
make each message unique. And therefore get around some
real or perceived restrictions.

technomaNge,
Thanks for the explanation. That makes sense. I wonder though, what
the MAF stands for. Apparently this thing has been around for a while,
because I found a reference to it here:

http://news.spamcop.net/pipermail/spamcop-geeks/2003-January/004083.html

that dates back to Jan 28, 2003. My guess is that the MAF stands for the
program you refer to. However, Googling comes up with nothing.

Seems like the Newsfeeds could easily set up their filters to remove
messages containing "MAF Anti-Spam ID:" followed by a randomized
sequence of alphanumeric characters.
