Had that happen before with yahoo just so happens it wasnt just me so i
redirected to a different site for download and it worked fine, might google
a diff site for download.

AIM installs perfectly on a working system. Perhpaps you have some
issues, like virues/spyware, or havent cleaned out your temp files in
ages.
