I have a decent (working) knowledge of Access, but it's
been a while a couple of months since I dealt with any of
the intricacies. Here's the situation. I have multiple
databases withinformation about different areas in
India. We'll say, for the sake of simplicity each of
these areas have four different castes to which someone
may belong. The problem is that each of these databases
deals with different locales so there's really no way I
could set up a 'primary key' of sorts (or at least I
don't think so). However, my aim is to create one query
in which i can show in each locale, how many of each
caste reside there. In Area 1 there are 5 A's; 4 B's; 12
C's; and 2 D's. In Area 2 there are....you get my
drift. Is this possible? Every time I try to set one
up, it prompts me for a relationship between the two
table, and I don't know how to really relate them. Any
help would be greatly appreciated because i'm sure you
are all MUCH more knowledgeable and Access savvy than I.
Thank you very much in advance.

Jennifer,

How are the tables structured?
