AGFA Snapscan 1212 trouble

i can't get my windows xp to sync with my AGFA snapscan 1212P scanner can i
have some help?
 
Sorry, the 1212P will not work with XP (mine's now under the house in its
carton).
Agfa has also pulled out of scanner manufacturing, so they didn't bother
about a fix/upgrade.

There was a 3rd. party so-called fix around, but it never really worked -
shame, I liked Scanwise.
