After SP2 update, I lost my MSN messenger

Hi,

Recently installed Windows XP SP2. After installation I got another
messenger which when connected opens my default email client. Its not giving
the details of my Hotmail account. How can I get the old messenger for
checking my hotmail emails & to chat with my hotmail friends.

Went to MSN Messenger and tried downloading. Nothing is happening. For some
reason the manul download link is blocked by our local ISP.

Any body has any suggestions.

Check C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe. If the folder/file
exist, right click the exe and send to desktop as shortcut. Google for
Remove Windows Messenger, the messenger from Windows itself which is
what you are probably seeing now.
