After modifying documents, "save as" is not an option

I'm running WORD 2002. Recently, after modifying documents, "save as" is no
longer an option. How do I set up WORD so that "saave as" is an option?

You mean, it doesn't appear in the file menu?

Some six or seven years ago, the very first macro virus that plagued us
exhibited similar behavior. Are you certain you haven't been infected with
that? Done a full virus scan with up-do-date software, recently?

Or if Save As *is* on the menu, but clicking on it appears to do nothing, it
could be that the Save As window is opening behind the document window, and
that's usually caused by an add-in, most often the Norton Office Plug-in.

Right-click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop,
left-click on Disconnect Network Drive, and disconnect any mapped
network drives that are not currently available.
