After initial install XP still boots from CD and not HD

I booted to the XP Pro cd, after the initial installation
was complete the system needed to reboot.

After the reboot instead of booting off the HD, it started
up the XP pro install disk again. I cant get it to boot
from the HD to finish the XP installation process.

Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

PS. If you have a solution give me specific detials on
where I need to go to fix the problem. thanks.

I'm sorry I do not have the solution, but I've been
trying to find it for a few days now. I've never had
this problem before, and it popped-up out of nowhere. If
you do have any luck finding the solution, please let me
know and I will do the same. Thanks.

Have you tried re-booting with CD removed? If that works, then you may need
to go into BIOS to set the boot device sequence.
