After I downloaded Windows XP updates I receive a Popup
when I log on to my windows XP home version that says,"
Windows cannot open this file:
File: TFTP3416
To open this file, Windows needs to know what program
created it.
Then Windows gives the choice to pick from a list or to
go on the internet to find this program for you to open
this file.
Selecting go to the internet doesn't accomplish anything.
It won't allow me to right click to check properties.
Selecting OK or Cancel gets rid of the box but
accomplishes nothing. What is this popup and how do I get
rid of it?Thanks, Mike

The presence of TFTP* files is an indicator of an infection from the Blaster worm. Please update your anti-virus program and run a complete scan. If you do not have an up-to-date AV program, download AVG (free for personal use) from www.grisoft.com. You must apply the Blaster patch from Windows Update, then clean your system. You might also download the Stinger program to clean this infection as well as others, but it is not a substitute for a AV program, http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/.
