after adding <base href> tag the include function quits working

ATTENTION-- this site is a memorial for stillborn babies. Their are pictures that you may find disturbing. The home page does contain two photos of the childs face and that is all. Do not follow any links in this post if you do not feel comfortable.

Hello ,I have a comcast account http://home.comcast.net/~adaniel2320 to shorten our addresses comcast provides the personal page names of adaniel2320.home.comcast.net. To use this we put this tag into the head section
<BASE HREF=http://home.comcast.net/~user name/>
when I did this my includeed pages quit displaying and also my embedden audio. Any suggestions our appreciated
 
Your page is lacking the <HTML> and </HTML> tags, which go before and after
<Head> and </body> tags respectively.

The <base href ... tag should probably be:
<BASE HREF=http://home.comcast.net/~adaniel2320/>
