Hello

I am not sure where I can get help with this spyware, so trying here.

Its call adware.adstart.b, it appears in my registry under the
curretn/run sections of both machine and user. I have delete it and
a couple other entries, but they reappear when I reboot. I can't find
the file (mothership) that keeps reinstalling them

I have searched google and found many sites explaining what it is and how
to delete the two files and two registry entries causing it. However, I
don't have those two files or registry entries that every web site reports
should be in my windows/system32 folder and registry.

Naturally, it casues persistent pop ups that make using a computer on the
internet nearly impossible. So we don't use that computer.....what is the
point of so many pop ups that you can't use the computer. NOT only are
these spyware people shitheads but they are stupid also.

I don't want to format and reinstall my windows but may have to do that at
this point. Just HOPING someone can help me before the worst rode to go
down happens.

Thanks in advance
Bacchus

Think you'll find it's Malware.... try using a spyware remover...
Spybot, AdaWare or Xsoftspy.... you may need to try running i
safemode

Thanks for help, but have tried those and more.
have not tried them in safe mode will give that a shot.

I believe I have stopped the adstart from getting back into the registry
but keep getting a key "ilywco" with a file jtsfcg.exe in the registry
the file is followed with "reg_run" (what does reg_run do?)
