I do need expert advice on any commercial control that can simplify
code to write in my CF application. I'm talking about grids,
tabcontrols.......or any suite that comes with various controls.
I've taken a look at Resco Grid
(http://www.resco.net/developer/smartgrid/default.asp) but I'm opened
to any other possibility. I will appreciate any opinion of people that
have worked with the commercial control they mention and which
significantly improved the performance of their application.

Thanks in advance.

Is there anything in particular you need, or just any controls at all?
Mooseworks has several controls, as does Resco and ComponentOne. OpenNETCF
has several as well, though they're free, so not sure they meet your
criteria of "commercial"

My CF application is targeted to elderly people, therefore I need simple
and intuitive controls, with many icons, high font sizes, many
colours..........

I've tried with OpenNETCF's controls and they work pretty well, but I do
need visually attractive controls that can catch user's attention and
must be very easy to use and remember.

I've also tried Resco's controls and I've got impressed with
OutlookGroup Control, that's the more linkely what I need.

I don't know about the other two vendors but I'll try them next days.

Any particular advice in developing CF applications for enderly people,
or any experience with these three commercial controls?

Thanks very much.

Mooseworks Software focuses on measurement and data acquisition controls, but our Instrumentation controls include visually attractive controls, including upgraded versions of standard controls (text box, label, check box, button, radio buttons), that allow you to fully control sizes, colors, images and fonts. They are intended to be touchable with fingers, and would work well with your audience.
