Has anyone already componentize the Advantech Drivers? I was looking for
one for the PCM-3718-H.

Advantech Claims they are XPe Ready however they don't have anything
pre-built and acted all confused when I asked if they had any or planned to
have any. They have a Standard windows install tool but it installs a ton
of stuff. InCtrl5 shows a ton of stuff, but I think abunch may be the setup
files and directories.

Richard,

I haven't seen the Advantech driver package but are you sure you need all the things the install package get installed (on XP
machine?) ?
Try just getting all the files from the package. Then use CD to import INF file(s) (or just copy the INF files to appropriate
directory in your image and PnP will do the job for you) and set up the Repository. See if it works.
If it doesn't, then you will need dig in to the registry possible added by the install package.
Also, you may want to use RegSnap tool instead of InCtrl5 since the last one does not give you a .reg file to be imported in CD.

They are Install.Exe installation files. The setup actually decompresses
the cabs and moves all the files, then makes all the registery entries. So
no INF files.

I guess I'll have to do it the hard way, or just install a fully working
configured image and clone it.

Richard,

Open Install with WinZip, or result Cab files with Winzip and decompress
them into a folder.
What do you see in the folder? Is there any INF file?
