I have 2 long lists of alphabetic symbols. Many are the
same in both. List A has 11,000 records; list B 8,000.
Everything is B is assumed to be in A. I want to put in
an output column the 3,000 that are not the same.
List A and B are my List Range.
I want List B to be my Criteria Range. But, if the first
symbol in the list is a (it means anything that has a in
it - does not mean the exact match).
So I tried to create a formula to make all the symbols and
exact match. Function help tells one how to do this
manually by using
=''=text''
But, I have found no way to create a formula for this; I
have tried concatenating the = and the quotes, but the
leading = does not show.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark
