Help! For some reason, I have adult links under my
Toolbars. And adult links daily keeps on popping up. I
can't find anywhere to delete this off of my system. I
even checked Add or Remove programs and it's not there. I
don't know how it even got installed in my home computer.
Can someone help?

get popup blocker and spybot
use google.com to find these.
read other posts to find good blockers.
use search feature in outlook express to find these posts.

Thank you, Rob. I'm sorry, I forgot to mention I did run
Spybot, search and destroy but it's still there. I also
have the latest version of Pop-Up stopper and the adult
links daily still pops up. It works well in stopping
other pop ups just not this pesky adult links.

did you check in your task manager to see what's running? just my 2 cents

Spyware Alert!
Info: http://217.115.153.73/parasite/AdultLinks.html

I noticed further along that you ran SpyBot and came up empty.
Hmmm. Run "Hijack This" from these instructions.

Thank you, siljaline. It worked. It's gone. Yippee!!

Sue!
You ran Hijack This and posted your log(s) to the Spyware Info Forum?
If you fixed items yourself you might be in for a bit of trouble... :)

Yes, I did post it in the Spyware Info Forum. Did I do
something wrong? Uh-oh...
No not at all, that is what you're supposed to do, let the experts
read and analyze your logs *first* before you take any action.
Based on what you were advised, this is how you did your cleanup?

Please post the spot at Spyware Info were you posted your logs.
Do not post your logs here... :-) Too long

Thanks.

Know what? I posted it there and when I looked on the
Links under Toolbar, it's gone. The only thing I can't
stop now are the pop-ups for it. I didn't realize it was
still happening until opened up Explorer. I'll have to go
and check out their instructions then. Didn't know that's
how it's done. Thank you again!
