ads in browser windows

-- Whilst navigating certain web pages adverts are now shown as [ad] this is
now
tiresome as several pages of info i need to look at are behind these [ad]
links.Is there a way to ensure all of these ads are shown in full,and is this
as a result of sp2 installation?
any help gratefully received

More likely you have ad-blocking software installed. Which software
firewall do you use? Got a hardware firewall? Any web content
filtering software anywhere on your host or upstream of your host
(another host running ICS or a router)? In Internet Options ->
Programs -> Manage Add-ons, for those currently loaded by IE, are any
related to some software you installed to do web content filtering?
What happens when you navigate to the same pages but use a different
browser, like Firefox?
