Hi wonder if someone could help me with a problem I have at home right now.
When I did a full system restore on my comp i wanted to save all my history
and so on in microsoft outlook. Downloaded a program tha would help me to
save all my history and documents. It was a shareware program so instead of
paying 30 bucks i thought that i could do it my self (silly me). it seems
like all i have now is recived mail and nothing else. the thing is that i
could see from wich loacation the program would get it´s information from to
do it´s backup so I copied the same folder and thought that the adress book
would be intact.

is it in anyway I still can get my address book to work ??? *please*

Hi,
first of all
IF you dont know, how a programm is working, ever make a backup of your
datas you want to process.
So know you have to activate your address book.
Have you reinstalled your Operation System or why have you made a backup?
Your contacts are stored in a *.pst File. So you have to search for your old
*.pst file,
and be sure that you search also in hidden file and folders

Hi Patrik,
so please open your Outlook
File > Open > Datafile and pointed to your *.pst file.
After that it will be open in your Outlook.
If you are using a pop3 server, the emails are still there.(on the server)
After creating the account you will also get this emails from the past
