Adobe Photoshop Elements

Unable to use the system default internet settings when using the set up dialogue box for Online Adobe Photoshop Elements.The message displayed on the application page for online preferences reads unable to determine default browser. Adobe online display box appears however when refresh button is activated ( per instructions from Adobe P E ) the refresh downloading bar appears for only several seconds. How can I get to the Adobe online tutorials?
