Adobe cMap

I am trying to reinstall adobe reader but it tells me that the CMap file is
inaccesible and cannot complete installation. Anyone had this problem before?
I can't download PDF files.

Did you try to remove Reader first? If so did it work? If it did not
work did you get an error? If you did not try then uninstall Reader
first and then try to reinstall it.
 
Better if you opt for a clean installation of Adobe Reader.Remove the
exsisting one and then reinstall.

Hi. So I uninstalled it using the control panel before I tried to reinstall.
It just keeps telling me it can't because access is denied to the fiel CMap.
I tried to reinstall after the uninstall and it still doesn't work.

You could try to uninstall the program in Safemode.
 
Boot into Safe mode,search the file and delete that from it's location.

One can download a .pdf even if you do not have a pdf reader.
