Admistrator User Account

Somehow when I startup my computer (Windows XP Home Edition) My user account
does not appear any more. Since I am the only administrator, this is really a
problem. How can I restore my user account and administrative privildges

Tap the F8 key on restart or starting the computer,select safe mode,enter
as administrator,open user accounts,select change the way windows starts,
edit.
