Administrators Only

I cannot update windows from the Microsoft Website. I keep
getting access for administrators only even though I am
the administrator. I have followed every possible help
directions I could find but none work...

Please advise
 
I'm not an expert by any means but recently had the same
or simlar issue. Mine was caused by a windows update.
Basically what happened is that the template for "User
Rights Assignment" was corrupt.
This may point you in the right driection....
Goto: Start, Settings, Control Panel, Adminstrative Tools,
Local Security Settings, and then expand Local Policies
and then User Rights assignments. Ensure that what you
are trying to do has the appropriate users selected.
If you get the template error or template file corrupt, it
gets a little more challenging.
