I recently installed a Buslink USB 2.0 Hi Speed
DVD+RW+R Drive and for awhile it worked fine.
Now when I try to burn photo images to a DVD+RW,
I get a message that says:

"Image
You do not have permission to save in this directory.
See the administrator for permission."

I am logged in as the administrator so I don't know
what to do. Any help would be greatly appreceiated.
Thanks Pat Husseman

I had the same problem with printers. I had to delete the
printer and then plug in and allow a Windows XP to
install the hardware and I have not had any problems
since.

If you are dragging and dropping files to the disk, did you create a folder
into which to place them or did you simply place them in the root directory.

If you didn't create a folder, there's a finite number of files that can be
placed on a disk and it's usually less than the capacity of that disl.

This sometimes results in a disk is full error or you don't have permission
error.

The fix is to create a folder on the disk and drag the files to that folder.
Note, you may first need to move files off the disk to facilitate this.

I tried to create a folder on the disk but got a message
saying:

"Unable to create 'new folder'
Access is denied"

Thanks for trying but no luck, Pat

I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it twice with no
luck. Thanks for trying, Pat

You may first need to move files off of the CD first because if the disk is
full or in this case too many files in the root folder, it won't let you
create a new folder on the disk.
