ADMINISTRATOR LOG IN

I am running windows xp professional. When i start my computer i can log in
as a guest but not as an administrator. i cannot remember the password. I
can not do any changes because i am not log in as a administrator. What can
i do to reset my pc and be able to log in as a administrator. Some in need
to technical help.

There is a tool called Austrumi that will allow you to reset the local
administrator password as well as some other utilities. You will need
to burn the image to a CD and boot from it. Follow the instructions and
you shouldnt have any problems. You can download it from the link above
also

Use NTpasswd to change the built-in Administrator password to a blank.
Then log in, go to the User Accounts applet in Control Panel, and
change the Administrator password to something you will remember.

ntpasswd is included in the austrumi image. Go with Malke's link if you
do not want to go through the process of burning the CD.
 
That is the problem Anando it is my brother's pc and her can not remember the
password and I was trying to see if there is a why to reset the system so
that he can log in as administrator
