Is there a way to enable a power user or any other user
except for administrator to perform Windows updates? I
have over 100 computers at work used by employees as
power users or simply users. They are not able to perform
Windows Updates until I come in, login as administrator
and do it for them. I don't want them to be
administrators and I don't want them to know
administrator's password.

Help! Thank you. :)

I'm not sure, but I thought you could enable this using
Group Policies. Also, there are plenty of programs out
there that will help you manage your patching centrally
and push the patches out to all of your workstations.
Shavlik's HFNetCheck Pro comes immediately to mind.

I usually give my users local admin privileges on their machines by adding
their domain username to the local administrators group.
