I'm now testing with Windows XP Embedded SP-1 but I wonder how to add the
mmc services control applet to my build.

Another question, is it possible to install Microsoft Office 2003 on
Windows XP Embedded?

It's possible, but you aren't allowed to do it. It's a licencing thing.
I'd tell you about the mmc services but I've had 2 hours sleep since 8am
sunday UK time and I just can't think right now.

You don't like adjusting to Seattle local time?

Heidi ,
Nice to see you in the NG.

I have found the MMC thing. I'll try some other word processor in the
mean time

Word processors in general are forbidden to use with XPe not just Office.
(legal issues not technical).

It is hard to make real embedded usage that require end users to use word
processor. Read carefully agreement that you have signed, and if you are
positive that you can fit in all clauses without any doubt in your design
then you can use word processor.
