Hello,

Are there ANY "Administrative Guides" for MS-Access???

Charles L. Phillips

If you mean by Admin Guide as you would get if you operated a SQL Server
type database, No. Access was developed for the average user and not meant
to be a 'full-scale' database. Your best bet would be to buy a Developer's
Handbook, such as the one written by Ken Getz, Paul Litwin, and Mike
Gilbert. It is a two part book; a Desktop version and a Enterprise version.
Full Title: Access 2000 Developer's Handbook Volume 1: Desktop Edition and
Volume 2: Enterprise Edition. Substitute your version of Access for the
version listed above.

Note: I don't believe there is a version of this for Access 97, if that is
your version.

I'm not really sure what you're looking for, Charles. Others who have
responded seem to think you were looking for development information, but
perhaps this is what you were looking for?

"How to keep a Jet 4.0 database in top working condition"

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.

Hello,
I want to "Thank" ALL of you for your responses, but Brendan Reynolds
response, was what I was looking for...
