Log on as Administrator, then right click on the C: drive, go into
it's properties, click the Security Tab, make sure Administrator and/or
Administrators is listed there, and whatever account you'd like to give
permission to. Click on Full Control for the Administrator.
Click on the Advanced button, put a check mark in the
Replace Permissions on all child objects...
Click on Apply.
That should give Administrator full permission to everything on the Drive
selected. If it doesn't then there might be some policy somewhere that
you might have to try to figure a way around.
Once you click on the Apply button, sit back and get a cup of coffee,
and wait. It might take a good while, depending upon the speed of the
computer, the hard drive access speed. It'll be going through every file
on the applicable drive to give FULL PERMISSIONS to Administrator.
Let us know if that helps.

Unsure if this is the proper place to ask this but here
goes:
When I try to access Windows Update, the screen says for
administrators use only. When I log back on as admin, I
still get the same screen. Does anyone know where I go to
change the administrator only access to windows update?
