Admin rights schedule tasks

Hi
I was trying to set up a couple of schedule tasks and got a message
saying "you do not have permission to perform the requested operation"
Can someone tell me how to go about getting permission please?

Running winxp home on a desktop PC
I don't have any admin rights or passwords set up

Assign a password to the account.

I did Rock, and when i click apply that's when i get the message
"you do not have permission to perform the requested operation"??
