I just went through a program at: http://www.loginrecovery.com
and it helps you to recover your lost admin password and User Password.
The results shown to me stated that I do not even have an administrator
password
on my computer. Can this be possible> Now, I know I have NOT set on using my
log on user account, but I thought all PC's come pre programed with aN
administrator's Password.
If not, how am I am to set one?
I at times, do, (though not regularly) run into situations where I get error
messages, telling me I do not have administrator access, etc....
Any advice would be received with appreciation.

Apeke,

No, if a password wasn't created for your user name account, you also won't
have an administrator password since you are the administrator by default.
Anyway, to create a password for the administrator's account, you will need
to create it under your user name, This means you will be able to log on as
yourself and as the administrator interchangeably. To do this:

* click Start > Settings > Control Panel > select 'User accounts'

* select 'change an account'

* select your account name

* select 'Create a password'

* type in your preferred password, click 'Create Password'

Of course, it's possible. Unless *you* set the password, one won't
magically appear.

Now, I know I have NOT set on using my
log on user account,

So now you know why there was no password.

but I thought all PC's come pre programed with aN

No, of course not. If they did, how could the purchasers be expected
to log in the first time?

If not, how am I am to set one?

Right-click My Computer > Manage > Users and Groups > Users,
right-click the target user account and select Set Password.
