Admin account disabled

Hi

Boot into Safe Mode and the user "Administrator" will be enabled again
automatically (for that session).

Log in as the user Administrator and enable the account again.

In Safe Mode, if you get an empty Welcome page, press Ctrl+Alt+Del
*twice* to get the ordinary logon page and then fill in the user
name Administrator.
 
The admin account doesn't appear under the user account control applet. The
easiest way to access it is to right-click on My Computer and select manage.
Then goto Computer Management -> System Tools -> Local Users and Groups.
The Admin account will be listed here and you should be able to reactivate
it.
 
I appreciate all your help, but there is no longer a
Local Users and Groups folder there!
Big problem isn't it?

Yes, it might be so.

What happens if you run this command from Start\Run:

control userpasswords2
