Adjust the position of the Preview Pane

Is it possible to tile the Preview Pane vertically with
the headlines? In that way I don't need to scroll that
much even for long mail.

But you will be shortening the line length which causes more line
wrapping which creates more lines to scroll through. Looks to be
self-defeating so you won't be reducing the amount of scrolling.
However, if you really want a 3 vertical panes layout similar to the
layout possible in OE, I believe Outlook 2003 provides that.

Lines in the emails are often very short that they won't
be wrapped even if the pane width is halved (this post is
already an example). That's the reason why scrolling can
be reduced.

Thanks for your help. Maybe I should consider installing
Outlook 2003.
 
Why not use the AutoPreview function? It provides the
first 3 lines of a message below the header.
