Depends on your video card and what drivers are being used. Sometimes, that
option isn't available for some with their setup. Anyway, go to Control
Panel, Display, then click the "settings" tab. Click the "Advanced" button,
then look under the tabs listed for color or someting like that, that may
have a brightness setting you can adjust.
If you don 't have this option, see if your video card manufacturer has an
updated driver on their website for XP, this may just include more features
for your Display Properties.
