In Outlook 2000, how do you get the address field to be automatic, as in,
first few letters typed will generate a dropt-down list of possibilities for
you to select from?
I have been using Outlook Express for years, but switched to Outlook
recently and just can't seem to find this seemingly simple answer in my
multiple searches..

Thanks for any help

You would need to use OL2002 or 2003 for this. They both offer autocomplete
and autoresolution, as opposed to early versions that only use
autoresolution (that means, anything in your contacts list can be a lookup
if you move to another field, hit Ctrl+K, or use the Check Names button)

Autocomplete in OL2002/2003 doesn't look up to your contacts/address books -
but it will autofill based on a cache of previously used addresses.
