Addresses with No Visibility

When typing addresses in the To box i get other email
addresses with similar names popping onto the screen. i
have gone to both the address book and contacts to delete
these addresses but have not been able to find them.
Suggestions?

What do you wish to do with them. If it's "delete", you can get rid of them
all by deleting the file whose type is .NK2 in
C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (be sure
to enable viewing of hidden files and folders). If you wish to delete
certain ones, when they pop up, move your mouse over the one you don't want
and press "Delete".
