Trying to print labels directly from Excel and from printer to another
would cause you a lot of trouble.
To print labels in MS Word using Mail Merge (MS Word) from Excel
see http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/mailmerg.htm
remember to move the worksheet tab to the far left so that
it is the first worksheet.
I have been copying and pasting a spreadsheet into
a "throwaway" workbook to do this! Thanks for the
information!! Hey, will it print labels only from those
visible after I use the auto filter to bring up those for
which I need labels?
Hi P.J.,
Yes it will. Filtered lists are nice. Another thing that a
filtered list gets you is that Copy (ctrl+c) from a filtered
list will only copy the cells remaining after filtering so
the use of a filtered list to restrict input into Mail Merge is not
really an exception.
