When I click on NEW in order to create a new e-mail messge
I get the following pop-up window:

A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have
stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? I have to
answer YES if I want to send an e-mail.

This also happens when I reply or forward a message.

What have I done and how do I go about fixing it?

You are using Word as your mail editor and you have an ill-behaved plug in
for Word, like Adobe Acrobat.

OK, so what do I do to get rid of it.
