I would like to relocate the address book .WAB file location to a spot where
I can easily identify it for back up. I have done this on my desk top based
on a magazine article I saw some time ago. I cannot recall how to do it and
in poking around haven't been able to figure it out.

How do I tell Outlook Express and the address book to look in a specific
location for the .WAB file?

I tried the REGEDIT modification as you suggested but it didn't work. I
checked the spelling and all of that. I finally went to the address book and
imported the file and it destroyed the organization. I have no idea where it
put the files. If I go to the D drive with Explorer and double click the WAB
file I brought over from the desktop, it opens fine. Just won't do it from
inside OE.

The aim here is twofold; import the address book file from my desktop to the
notebook intact with organization and to put the files where I can easily
back them up, (on the D drive).

Any suggestions?

Thanks
