Address Book pab to wab

I have a .pab address book saved on disk that I am trying to import into
Outlook Express. I click on Import and then Personal Address Book then
Import. A box tell me import successfully completed but it nevers asks for
location of the address book to import or nothing. I hasn't imported
anything.
So how can convert pab to wab? The file I have is only 192K.

The import routine in the Windows Address Book always takes whatever is
currently defined in Outlook. Do you have Microsoft Outlook installed on
this machine and is it configured to use the personal address book that has
the data you need/want?
 
No. I have Outlook Express on my computer. I have a saved .pab file on a
floppy disk. I want to import this .pab file into Outlook Express but as
mentioned, the import tool doesn't import it. So how can I convert .pab to
..wab

The only way is via Outlook. You can access the PAB either by importing it
into Outlook or by connecting the Personal Address Book service and opening
it. Once the PAB is defined in Outlook, Outlook Express's import will be
able to recognize it, since it gets it via calls to Outlook.
