Address book/Outlook - can't insert adress

I have my address book on the QAT but when I try to insert an address in a
label or envelope I get an error message saying that "MS has encountered a
problem and needs to close. Sorry for the incovenience." Right. I had no
problems until we upgraded. I send out lots of documents and this is
unacceptable to me. Any suggestions?
 
Does it do so when Outlook is open? Close all Office components then try
repairing Office from the Windows Add or Remove programs applet.
