I am trying to merge a customer address list created in
Microsoft Works Address Book into Microsoft Word so I can
print mailing labels. I have tried following the help
prompt, all works but not option to merge. When
selecting data source, it is not encoded correctly
(illegible) again I follow instructions to convert but
nothing changes when I choose any of the options in that
window. If nothing else are there other programs that
will complete this task....Is there something wrong with
the software or just me...Please respond, I have got to
get these in the mail...I have been working on this for
months and don't know anyone who can come to my computer
to explain it...Is there a book...merging for dummies!

I would export each list into a separate .TXT or .CSV
file as a CSV (comma-separated-values) list. Then, when
both are .TXT (or .CSV) files, re-import them into your
program of choice as .TXT (or .CSV) files. The program
may ask you if they are CSV and you answer yes.

You may then have to check for duplicates, but they
should all be there.
