Address Bar

I noticed a few days ago that when I type in an address to a website for
example www.msn.com nothing happens. But when I type in the full address for
example http://www.msn.com the website opens. Does anyone know how to fix
this problem? Any help will be much appreciated and thanks in advance.

security update MS06-015 (15 Apr-06)

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms06-015.mspx has
been revised to v1.1 to reflect the issues in KB918165 and now points
to the KB918165.

Now may not be the time to learn Regedit.
I suggest you use a .reg file already done for the purpose.

Unzip it, extract the .reg file to a folder, right-click it and select
Merge and confirm when asked.
