Address bar

ok this is something new...and seeing as how i am not
completley computer illiterate i am stumped....my son got
up here yesterday and now i can not display the address
bar on my internet explorer. right clicking does not
bring it out...i can not fnd anything that even mentions
it! where did it go? please if someone could help undo
the work of a two year old iw ould be grateful! thank you

In IE, have you looked at View, Toolbars to see what is checked?

yes and the address bar is checked, but it isnt giving me
the window to type the web address
