address bar in IE 6

How do I "clean out" the list of links and networked
drives that IE saves in the address bar? It seems like
once I have gone some where through the address bar that
loaction never ages out and I can find no way to manually
delete old locations. This is rendering this feature
useless as more and more irrelevent stuff piles up in this
pull down menu.
