address bar disappeared

My address bar has disappeared. Under 'toolbars',
the 'address bar' is checked. But all I have in the
browser is a small button that says 'address' (I have
tried clicking it, moving it with no effect) If I toggle
the check from the 'address bar' toolbar, the 'address'
button goes away and comes back. This is IE6
 
Right click on the toolbar and Unlock it.
The see if you can drag the small vertical bat to the left of right and
expand the area.
When all is well lock it to position.

And or,
Confirm these default Registry entries exist:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Show_ToolBar"="yes"
"Show_URLinStatusBar"="yes"
"Show_URLToolBar"="yes"
