Pianist in the dark

Hi all

I tried to add my new computer(Win XP Prof) to the
existing network (2 computers, Win 98 and Win 2000). All
three computers have ADSL broadband and are connected to a
hub. I tried to use XP's "set up a home and office
network" function. I used a different workgroup name but
I could no longer see the other two computers in "My
network place". All I saw was the icon of my computer.
Although previously I could not browse into any of the tow
computers, at least I knew they were there.

Is there any way to get everything back to orginal? Like
it has never occured? How could I actually set up a
network for file and printer sharing?

Thanks for help guys!

What make and model hub are the two working computers connecting to?

Please post ipconfig information for each computer.
Start - Run - "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in
Notepad, copy and paste into your next post.

If you want the third computer to share resources with the other two, putting it
into the same workgroup is usually better. So just give me the ipconfig data,
and I'll tell you what to change.

Cheers,
Chuck
