Is there a way to change XP Media to a domain froma Work Station? It is
grayed out.
Thanks Terry

Windows XP Media Center does not work with a domain. I think that there are
hacks, but involve using cmd, and other things.

If you still want to try, type it into google.

Hope this helps

The only "official" Microsoft method is during the complete initial
set up of MCE onto the PC. That means: formatting the drive and
selecting the "domain" during the set up process, just after the
format. However, you can not change domain names after this "first"
set up. You can only change to a Workgroup and loose all "domain"
tools after.

Thanks.

Direct from Microsoft:

CAUSE
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 does not support a scenario
where you join your computer to a domain.

MORE INFORMATION
In earlier versions of Media Center, a scenario where you
join your computer to a domain is supported.
